ISO 22000 Fundamental Principles
ISOmantra established the ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Network Standard, which is an international ISO 9001 and cross-national platform for food safety across HACCP.
The food chain is too complex, and preventing dangerous substances from entering food at any step is more difficult than it appears. Product traceability is an important step in guaranteeing food safety. The ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System will assure this. This system comprises rules for controlling the food production stages, from product growth in the field to packaging, storage, and shipment.
The ISO 22000 fundamental principles are as follows
• Conducting hazard analysis
• Identifying Critical Control Points
• Establishment of Critical Limits
• Establishment of the system for observing the analyses in CCPs
• Identifying corrective actions
• These are the applications that should be carried out if monitoring techniques reveal that a specific CCP is not under control.
• Establishment of verification processes
• The goal of these operations is to demonstrate that the system is functioning properly.
• Principles are prepared by procedures and records.
