ISO 9001 is one of the most widely accepted standards in the world. It is a quality management standard that outlines guidelines for increasing business efficiency and customer satisfaction. ISO 9001 aims to embed a quality management system (QMS) within an organisation, assisting it in increasing productivity, reducing unnecessary costs, and ensuring the quality of processes and products.
Each ISO 9001 certificate is valid for three years from the date it is issued. During the 3-year validity period, auditors from the certifier return to ensure that the business is still meeting the Standard’s requirements. At the very least, they will conduct an annual audit.
ISOmantra first received ISO 9001 certification in 2018. We have successfully completed our annual audits since then to ensure that the company remains fully certified year after year. This most recent re-certification audit (after three years) included a two-day full audit covering clauses from the ten clauses outlined in ISO9001:2015. We were successful and re-certified in large part due to the efforts of our Operations Manager and his team.
Being re-certified as a result of a successful ISO 9001 audit is extremely beneficial to the company. It ensures customer satisfaction and assures our standards while also providing continuous improvements and resulting operational efficiencies. Furthermore, ISO 9001 emphasises and validates our business credentials, speaking volumes to stakeholders and customers alike.
